In the tiny overlap between Pop Team Epic fans and up-to-date Yu-Gi-Oh players, it’s Hand Trap Epic! “Hand trap” is a fan term referring to Yu-Gi-Oh cards that can be used during either player’s turn to counter plays (like a Trap Card) but can be used directly from the hand instead of being placed on the field first.
Both of the characters here are based on popular hand traps: the one on the left is Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring, while the one on the right is Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit.
As an aside, both of these localized names are the result of unpacking the puns in their JP names: Haru Urara, normally something like “splendor of spring”, here has “haru” written with characters for “ash” and “flow”, while Yuki Usagi, normally “snow rabbit”, writes “yuki” with characters meaning “ghost” and “oni/ogre” instead.
